It has a structure in which a polarizing plate 18 and a conductive rubber key 10 are arranged through a polarizer 7. An aluminum reflector (not shown) with a polarizing plate pasted 9 is disposed below the liquid crystal display 15, and by applying a predetermined electric signal to the liquid crystal display 15, the display operation can be viewed in reflective mode. Can be done.

In the patent, in a device in which display data is displayed and output via a display buffer constituted by a RAM (Random Access Memory), the display data may change due to static electricity. For this reason, in conventional desktop calculators and the like, a method has been adopted in which a noise plate 19 is provided below the printed board 14, as shown in FIG. 1, to prevent the above-mentioned malfunctions.

The liquid crystal display section 15 is composed of a pair of electrode plates and a liquid crystal material sandwiched between the pair of electrode plates, and this liquid crystal material uses a twisted nematic liquid crystal mode (TN mode). However, other liquid crystal modes such as guest-host liquid crystal mode, dynamic scattering mode and cholesteric-nematic phase transition mode can also be used.
