Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １　投光系からの投射光を撮影光学系の一部の領域を通
    して被写体へ投射し、被写体からの反射光を前記撮影光
    学系の他の領域を通して光電変換手段を含む受光系へ導
    いて前記撮影光学系の合焦状態を判定させる合焦検出装
    置であって、前記投光系は投射光を第１の方向に偏光軸
    を持った直線偏光にする偏光手段を備え、前記受光系は
    前記第１の方向と直交する第２の方向の偏光のみを透過
    させる偏光選択手段を有することを特徴とする合焦検出
    装置。 ２　前記撮影光学系の被写体への反射光を通過させる一
    部の領域の近傍に、投光系からの偏光光を円偏光にする
    か、或いは前記第２の方向の偏光光に変換するフィルタ
    手段を設けた実用新案登録請求の範囲登録請求の範囲第
