  1. ロータと、このロータの中心軸を通る通し線に関して非
    対称な形状の磁極片を有する第１のステータと、前記ロ
    ータの中心軸を通る線に関して前記第１のステータの磁
    極片形状とは逆の非対称の形状に形成され、前記第１の
    ステータに重ねて配置される第２のステータとを具備し
    、前記ロータを前記第１のステータに対向する位置と前
    記第２のステータに対向する位置とに選択的に配置させ
    ることを特徴とするステップモータ。
