A discharge electrode and a dust collection electrode are provided, voltages are applied to the discharge electrode and the dust collection electrode so as to have different polarities respectively, and the pollution particles are charged by corona discharge to the discharge electrode,
As a result, an electrostatic dust collector is provided which adsorbs and collects contaminant particles on the dust collecting electrode.

るものである。However, the former physical dust collector has the disadvantage that it is often unable to collect ultrafine pollution particles due to the size and number of micropores in the filter, while the latter electrostatic dust collector has the disadvantage of being unable to collect the corona particles mentioned above. In order to obtain a wide discharge in the discharge space, a high-voltage generator must be used, which increases manufacturing costs, and handling of the high-voltage generator is dangerous, and furthermore, the power loss during the corona discharge is large. The present invention aims to provide a dust collector that eliminates the above-mentioned drawbacks.

利点がある。The bases 41.41 are disposed in the exterior frame 1 so as to face each other along the air flow direction, and may be made of a metal plate or a resin plate. When a foamed synthetic resin board, for example a polyurethane foam, is used, when air passes through the micropores in the polyurethane foam, the micropores physically collect contaminant particles 1, such as dust, mixed in the air. It has the advantage of functioning as a member.

Polyurethane foams with only a three-dimensional skeleton structure are available, and an example of this type of foam is the product name "Everlight Scotto" (manufactured by Brideston Tire Co., Ltd.).

Compared to the case where the dielectric material 43 is provided, the dust collection performance is inferior, but as a result of experiments, good dust collection data was obtained.
