Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable the simultaneous detection of the earth potential of an embedded metal and a movement value due to AC, by adding a peak value detecting circuit to a potential measuring apparatus. CONSTITUTION:As a peak value detecting circuit, a peak hold circuit constituted of a diode 11 and a condenser 14 is used and the voltage drop of the diode 11 is compensated by an amplifier 10 and stably operated by a resistor 12 and comparator 16. In this case, the peak hold circuit is connected to the minus side of a change-over switch to made it possible to detect the max. value of the earth potential of an embedded pipe and connected to the plus side of the switch 15 to make it possible to detect the max. value 8.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method for measuring the value of the ground potential of a loose line or buried pipe using a portable simple measuring device when alternating current is superimposed on the pipe due to the influence of power transmission lines or other factors. Conventionally, when using an AC voltmeter to investigate the influence of alternating current on piping pipes or buried pipes, only the effective value or peak value is measured, and changes in potential due to alternating current cannot be measured, so As mentioned above, the purpose of the present invention is to measure the ground potential of buried metal structures where alternating current is superimposed. The present invention provides a method for measuring water droplets using a simple potential measuring device having a peak wave detection circuit. The water droplets will be explained below based on the attached drawings.Normally, the first thing to check is whether or not there is corrosion in buried pipes, etc. The pipe-to-ground potential is measured by the method shown in the figure, in which a buried pipe 2 buried in soil or liquid is connected to one terminal of a potential measuring device 4, and a reference electrode 3 is connected to the other terminal. The measurement results using this method are as follows:
As shown in Figure 5, if there is no ground stray current, AC induction or AC contact, the value does not change significantly over time and can be measured as a DC potential, and 5 is the natural potential. , 6 indicates the corrosion protection potential. In this case, if cathodic protection is performed, the material moves in the e direction as shown in 6. , 5 is called the natural potential, and 6 is called the anticorrosion potential.

In the case described above, if induction is performed from a power transmission line, etc., the potential to the ground of the pipe will overlap as shown in Figure 3, and the potential will fluctuate with the passage of time, and the above-mentioned natural The potential or anticorrosion potential also fluctuates in the ■ direction. If a buried metal body fluctuates in the direction of its natural potential, the anode welding area will begin to corrode, so controlling the potential of this metal is important to prevent corrosion.
It is important to note that in this application, as shown in FIG.
It was invented to detect the peak values of (1) and (1). By connecting the peak hold circuit in the figure to θ of the changeover switch 15, the highest value 7 of the ground potential of the buried pipe is also connected to the Survey high value 8 can be detected. , the above-mentioned peak wave detection circuit basically consists of a diode 1 as shown in FIG.
1 and a capacitor 14, an additional IJ circuit 10 is used to compensate for the voltage drop across the diode 11, and a resistor 12 is used to ensure stable operation. and a comparator 16 are provided.

As mentioned above, it is possible to measure the influence of alternating current on a buried metal body using Kenpo, so if we emphasize this when measuring in Figure 1 above, we can measure the normal ground potential of the buried metal body,
Since it is possible to simultaneously know the fluctuation value of 3e due to alternating current, it is effective in managing corrosion protection. It also has the advantage of being able to conduct AC induction and AC contact as described above.
