・駆動制御部、１８・・・印字機構。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. プラテンと、該プラテン上にフィードする用紙の送り機
    構と、上記用紙に印字する印字ヘッドを有する印字機構
    部を備えたプリンタにおいて、上記印字ヘッドの端部又
    は印字ヘッド−と連動する部材に上記用紙及びプラテン
    を照射する発光器とその反射光を検出する受光器を設け
    て形成した光センサ部と、上記発光器をパルス発光させ
    る発振器と、用紙面から反射により上記受光器が検出し
    たパルス数をカウントするカウンタと、上記印字ヘッド
    の印字速度、文字幅をあらかじめ記憶させたメモリと、
    上記カウンタ及びメモリからの情報に基づき用紙の幅に
    応じた一行印字可能最大文字数を演算し設定する印字制
    御部と、該印字制御部の指令によって印字可能最大文字
    数に応じ印字、改行を行なう駆動制御部を含む印字幅自
    動設定装置を具備せしめたことを特徴とするプリンタ。
