Claims

A synthetic resin case containing the electrode plate group and a cover that covers the case and has inside thereof a joint between the current collector and the terminal plate of the electrode plate group and a part of the terminal are fixed with adhesive. In addition, the lead-acid battery has a terminal plate pulled out to the upper part of the cover from a terminal plate pull-out hole provided in the case and the cover, and a dish-shaped terminal plate receiving plate is arranged between the case and the cover. A lead-acid battery in which a terminal plate is placed on the receiving plate of the battery, and the terminal plate is exposed on the top surface of the cover through a terminal plate draw-out hole provided in the cover.
