    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 映像信号の最大値と最小値とをピークホールドする手段
    を備え、前記ピークホールド手段によって保持された映
    像信号の最大値と最小値を強調レベルの上位レベルと下
    位レベルにそれぞれ設定し、前記両レベル間にあってデ
    ジタル値に変換された映像信号を線型的に拡大変換した
    後、アナログ値に変換することにより映像信号の強調を
    行うことを特徴とする自動映像強調装置。
