As a result of extensive research aimed at providing a method for solidifying liquid paraffin with a simpler process without using polyethylene, the inventor added a hydrogenated lecithin to liquid paraffin and melted it by heating. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that the liquid paraffin solidifies into a gel when left to cool, and that this gel can be effectively used as an oily base for cosmetics and external medicines.

Further, regarding the degree of hydrogenation of lecithin, it is not necessary to completely hydrogenate the lecithin, and a gel can be sufficiently formed even if the lecithin is hydrogenated to a degree of iodine value of 2. When carrying out the present invention, hydrogenated lecithin is added to liquid paraffin and mixed uniformly, and approximately 60%
The hydrogenated lecithin may be dissolved by overflowing to about qo, and then allowed to cool.

In the present invention, in addition to liquid paraffin, squalane and Q
Hydrocarbon oils such as olefin oligomers and fluid polyisobutylene can be used alone or in combination of two or more thereof. In addition, vegetable oils such as olive oil that do not form gels alone, or liquid higher fatty acid esters such as isopropyl myristate, can be mixed with the same amount or more of the above-mentioned hydrocarbon oil such as liquid paraffin and used as a liquid oil mixture. , it becomes possible to individualize it into a gel-like state. When using the oily gel according to the present invention as a base for external medicines, after dissolving or dispersing the d medicine in a hydrocarbon oil such as liquid paraffin or the above liquid oily mixture, hydrogenated lecithin is added and solidified into a gel. The resulting gel can be directly filled into a tube or the like and used as an ointment.

Furthermore, since the main component of ointments is a fluid oily substance, the medicines contained therein are also easily released. On the other hand, when applying the oil-based gel according to the present invention to cosmetics,
This oil-based gel with fragrance added thereto can be used for hair treatment, and if this oil-based gel is used for surface treatment of powder used in makeup cosmetics, pancakes can be produced with less molding pressure than before.

The fluidization temperature of this gel was about 400C. Example 2 To a mixture consisting of 4 parts of isopropyl myristate and 6 parts of liquid paraffin, 15 parts of the hydrogenated soybean lecithin used in Example 1 above was added and the mixture was perfused to 60 oz.
After further addition of 50% of the mixture and mixing uniformly, the mixture was allowed to cool to obtain an almost transparent gel.
