れ印字ヘッドの抵抗体の配置およびロー）の構成を示す
図、第３図は前記低抗体とローラによる用紙装着状態の
検出を説明するための図、第４図は本考案の検出機構に
よるサーマルプリンタの制御動作を示す機能ブロック図
である。 図において、１は印字用の抵抗体、２および４はリード
線、３は用紙装着状態検出用の抵抗体、５は用紙、６は
金属製円柱、７は弾性体層、８は周縁部分表面、９は用
紙装着検出用電源、１０はレシーバ、１１は用紙装着判
定回路、１２は印字用電源、１３は表示部である。

Claims (1)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 抵抗体の発熱を利用して印字を行うサーマルプリンタに
    おいて、印字用の抵抗体と電気的に分離された別の抵抗
    体を印字ヘッド上に設け、かつ用紙を該印字ヘッドに圧
    接するためのローラの、少なくとも該別の抵抗体に対向
    する周縁部分表面を導電性とし、該別の抵抗体と該ロー
    ラの導電性表面との間の電気的導通を検出して装着用紙
    の有無を監視することを特徴とするサーマルプリンタに
    おける用紙検出機構。
