Structure of the Invention (Means and Effects for Solving the Problem) In view of this problem, the present invention pushes up the item on the pedestal from below toward the stretched and gripped packaging film, The folding stand adjacent to this is moved laterally, and during the time it takes to transfer the item from the receiving stand to the folding stand,
Fold one edge of the packaging film held between the receiving stand and the folding stand directly against the underside of the item, and place the item on the folding stand relative to the ejection stand adjacent to the folding stand. As the product is moved and transferred, the other edge of the packaging film held between the folding table and the discharging table is further folded into the lower side of the item via one edge of the packaging film. Roll the packaging film into a cylindrical shape,
The openings at both ends of the packaging film that has been wrapped around the product into a cylindrical shape are further folded into the lower side of the product by a folding member via both edges of the packaging film to package the product.

(Example) An example of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.Although not shown, a strip-shaped packaging film is pulled out from a winding roll by a conveying device and cut into a predetermined length. As shown, the cut packaging film 1 is gripped by both the front and rear gripping members 3.degree. 2 and the left and right gripping members 4, 4 on its four sides and stretched horizontally. In synchronization with the stretching and gripping of the packaging film 1, the product supply stage 5 (
In this embodiment, a flat belt is used) to transport the article W, and it comes into contact with the stopper 8 and stops. The article mounting section 7a, which is the upper part of the flat belt 7, is supported by a support member 8 (a plate material or a group of rollers) so as not to bend downward when the article W is placed thereon. Thereafter, as shown in FIG. 2, the pedestal 6, the stopper 8, both left and right gripping members 4, 4, the front gripping member 3, and the ejecting table 12 located above the front gripping member 3 are raised, and the cradle 6 The upper item W is pushed up towards the packaging film 1. This pushed up item W is packaging film 1
is lifted up and held down by the sponge belt 11a of the conveyance device 11 located above the discharge table 12. This conveyance device 11 is movable in the vertical direction and tiltable.

Next, as shown in FIG. 3, the cradle 6 and the folding pedestal 9 adjacent to the pedestal 6 above the rear gripping member 2 are moved in the lateral direction. The belt 7 is forcibly rotated, and the upper part of the flat belt 7, the article placement part 7a, is moved in the direction B opposite to the moving direction A of the pedestal 6, and the time of the movement is from the top of the pedestal 6. As the article W is transferred onto the folding table 9, one end edge 1a of the packaging film 1, which has passed between the receiving table 6 and the folding table 9 and is gripped by the rear gripping member 2, is released and the article is transferred. The article W is folded directly onto the lower side of the article W as shown in FIG. 4, and the article W is transferred onto a flat belt 10 of a freely rotatable folding table 9.

At the time of folding, as the pedestal 6 and the folding pedestal 9 move laterally, the article mounting portion 7a of the flat belt 7 of the pedestal 6 moves in the direction B opposite to the moving direction A of the pedestal 6. At the same time, the article placement part 10a, which is the upper part of the flat belt 10 of the folding table 9, also moves in the opposite direction B. Therefore, theoretically, the movement of the receiving table 6 and the folding table 9 is The movement of the article mounting portion 7a, IC)a of the flat belt 7.10 is canceled out, so that the relative position between the article W and the flat belt 7.104 does not change, and the relative position of the article W and the flat belt 7.10 does not change. No slippage occurs between them. In this case, there is a risk that the item W may slip in the moving direction A of the cradle 6 and the folding pedestal 9 due to the folding force.
The flat belt 7 of the folding table 9 is forcibly rotated, and since there is not much folding force at the beginning when the item W is transferred onto the flat belt 10 of the folding table 9, the flat belt 10 of the folding table 9 is not forced to rotate. Although it is set to rotate freely, the packaging resistance varies depending on the type of packaging film 1 and other various packaging conditions, so if the packaging resistance is small, both the flat belt 7 of the pedestal 6 and the flat belt 10 of the folding base 9 It may be allowed to rotate freely, or if the packaging resistance is large, not only the flat belt 7 of the pedestal 6 but also the flat belt 10 of the folding table 9 may be forced to rotate. In short, depending on the folding force and the frictional force generated between the article W and the flat belt 7.10, the flat belt 7.10 can be made to rotate freely, or the circumferential speed of the flat belt 7.10 can be adjusted in the case of forced rotation. It is necessary to minimize changes in the relative position between the article W and the flat belt 7.10. However, when the item W is transferred onto the flat belt 10 of the folding table 9, one edge 1a of the packaging film 1 has already been folded under the item W, so the item W
does not come into direct contact with the flat belt 10 through this one edge 1a, and even if the relative position between the item W and the flat belt 10 changes, there will be no damage to the item W. It's not much of a problem. However, since the flat belt 7 of the pedestal 6 and the article W are in direct contact with each other, it is important to minimize changes in the relative position between them. Therefore, in order to prevent damage to the item W as much as possible even if a change in relative position occurs between the item W and its placement part, it is desirable that the placement part has no unevenness. Belt 7 to 11
We are using. Note that on the folding table 9, as mentioned above, the item W comes into contact with the flat belt 10 via one edge 1a of the packaging film 1, so there is no need to cause too much of a problem in terms of damage to the item W; Alternatively, it is also possible to use multiple rollers. Also, of item W,
Although there are some problems in terms of damage depending on the type, it is also possible to use a plurality of rollers in place of the flat belt 7 of the pedestal 6.

After the one end edge 1a of the packaging film 1 is folded in this way, as shown in FIG.
The front gripping member 3 and the discharge table 12 are lowered, and as they are lowered, the packaging film 1 is gripped by the movable gripping members 14 and 14 that reciprocate along the discharge table 12, and the left and right gripping members 4, , 4 release their grip and descend. Next, a conveying device 11 holds down the item W on the folding table 9 from above with a sponge belt 11a.
As the article W is transferred onto each belt 13 of the discharge table 12 which is forcibly rotated, the packaging film 1 and other parts that pass between the folding table 9 and the discharge table 12 and gripped by the front gripping member 3 are transferred. When the grip is released, the edge 1b is further folded into the lower side of the item W via one edge 1a of the packaging film 1, and after folding, the packaging film 1 is folded into a circle on the discharge table 12 as shown in FIG. 6.7. It becomes cylindrical so that the article W is wrapped around the belt 13. In synchronization with the folding of the other edge 1b, the pedestal 6 moves toward the article supply stand 5 and waits there until the article W is transferred. In addition, in folding the other edge 1b of the packaging film 1, the conveyance device 11 is eliminated, and the folding table 9 and the discharge i12 are moved to the article W in a fixed position, similar to the folding of the one edge 1a of the packaging film 1. Relative movement in the lateral direction is also possible.

Next, as shown in FIG. 7, the support stand 15 located below the round belt 13 of the discharge stand 12 rises as shown in FIG. The article W on the round belt 13 is lifted through the gap. As shown in FIG. 9, both folding members 16 are attached to the support base 15
The lodging rod 15a is pushed down against its elasticity and bites into the underside of the item W, and as the grip of the movable gripping member 14.14 is released, the openings 1C11d at both ends of the cylindrical packaging film 1 are placed on the underside of the item W. Then, the packaging film 1 is further folded in through both edges 1a and 1b, and the item W is completely wrapped. Thereafter, the wrapped item W is discharged.
