Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ ロールシヤフトの外周面にスリーブが固定さ
れた分割連続鋳造ロールであつて、ロールを回動
可能に支承する軸受に関連してシール装置が配設
されているものにおいて、そのシール装置が、半
径方向内向きに延在する壁を有するハウジングと
、このハウジング内に収められたシールリングと
を具え、当該シールリングは円周方向に分割され
た複数のセグメントよりなり、更に、前記の各セ
グメントを前記ハウジングの壁の内面に対して軸
線方向に押圧する第１の弾性部材と、前記各セグ
メントを前記スリーブに対し半径方向内方に向け
て押圧する第２の弾性部材とを具え、前記第１お
よび第２の弾性部材を前記ハウジング内に収めて
なることを特徴とする連続鋳造ロール。 ２ 請求の範囲第１項記載の連続鋳造ロールにお
いて、前記シールリングの各セグメントおよび前
記スリーブがセラミツク材料よりなることを特徴
とする連続鋳造ロール。 ３ 請求の範囲第１項記載の連続鋳造ロールにお
いて、前記第２の弾性部材は前記セグメントの外
周に係合して各セグメントを相互に締結する単一
の無端状コイルばねよりなることを特徴とする連
続鋳造ロール。
