ル5の端面に設けられた突出部5aをプリント基板3に
挿通し、金属パネル5をプリント基板3偶に押付けて導
電ゴム4にある程度の圧縮力を加えて突出部5aを折曲
げ、液晶表示素子1と導電ゴム4を金属パネル5とプリ
ント基板3とで挾持固定している。

属パネルとプリント基板とで挟持固定してなる液晶表示
装置において、前記金属パネルを塗装し、かつ金属パネ
ルの突出部をプリント基板のアースされたパッドに接触
させることにより、金属パネルのアースへの電気的接続
が取れ、これによって静電気マージンが増え、静電気に
対する液晶駆動用LSIの信頼性が向上する。
