If the floating roof pontoon has a single deck roof, the partition room is as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
In addition, in the case of a double deck type roof, as shown in Figures 3 and 4, the entire bontoon 1 is generally divided into a plurality of partitions 3 by vertical partition plates 2, and each partition is made into a fluid-tight structure. Even if one partition is damaged, the floating roof function can be maintained due to the buoyancy provided by other partitions. Testing is required.
Therefore, the manhole 4 provided in each partition must also have a fluid-tight structure. However, if the fluid-tight structure is put into practical use, the pressure inside the partition will repeatedly change from positive to negative due to the influence of atmospheric temperature changes and heat from direct sunlight. There is a problem in that various parts of the partition chamber are subjected to repeated loads, which may cause their fluid tightness to break or damage to the members. The present invention aims to solve this problem by attaching a manhole nozzle to the upper roof plate of a floating roof pontoon and increasing the permissible rainwater puddle height determined from the strength and buoyancy stability of the floating roof (this is called the rainwater puddle permissible height). ) A manhole for a floating roof pontoon is provided, characterized in that a ventilation hole having a structure to prevent rainwater intrusion and which can be tightly plugged is provided at a proper position of the nozzle which is higher than the height of the nozzle.

As shown in the figure, a nozzle 6 for a manhole 4 is welded to the upper roof plate 5 of the partition 3 of the pontoon. The nozzle should be installed in a location where there is no risk of rainwater entering, for example, a ventilation hole on the side of the nozzle 6 or on the cover plate 9 at a location higher than the permissible height 7 for rainwater pooling on the floating roof during rain and the height 8 of the rainwater emergency drainage pipe. 10 is provided. The ventilation hole 10 has a structure that can be sealed to prevent rainwater from entering and to conveniently test fluid tightness during manufacturing. For example, a ventilation pipe 12 covered with a cap 11 having a ventilation groove on the inner surface, a plug or a flange can be attached. , a vent tube 13 with a downwardly bent tip opening, or a simple vent hole. If the cap 11 having a ventilation groove is tightened beyond a certain level, the passage of fluid will be blocked, and if a plug or a blind flange is attached to the outlet of the ventilation pipe 13, the passage of fluid will be blocked.
Even if it is just a ventilation hole, it can be sealed with a plug or the like. Further, the structure of the cover plate 9 may be any type of cover plate such as a cap type, a blind plate tightened with bolts and nuts, or a cover plate attached with a hinge.

To describe the effects of the present invention, firstly, a manhole nozzle is attached to the upper roof plate of the pontoon, and a ventilation hole with a rainwater intrusion prevention structure is provided at a position higher than the allowable height of the rainwater pool of this nozzle, so that it can pass through even during rainy days. The function of the pores is maintained.Secondly, the ventilation hole can be opened and closed, and when necessary, it can be closed to perform an airtightness test of the partition. It has a simple structure, and the pressure inside the partition is always maintained at the same level as the outside air. This allows the roof pontoon to function without any problems.
