Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve easy preparation of hair pieces and to prevent falling-off of the hair attached by bundling a number of thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers, inserting one end of the bundle of fibers into a cylindrical bundling member and then heating the bundling member under pressure to fixedly adhere the fibers to one another. CONSTITUTION:To start preparation, a number of thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers 1 are bundled. Then, the bundle of fibers is inserted at one end thereof into a cylindrical bundling member 2. Thereafter, the bundling member 2 is heated under pressure by heating and pressing means 3, so that the bundling member 2 is collapsed and the fibers 1 are melted to be joined to one another as well as to be adhered to the bundling member 2. Thus, the bundled fibers 1 are adhered to the bundling member 2, without falling therefrom. Then, the bundling member 2 is attached to a desired position of a doll, animal toy or others, assuring simple and positive attachment of the fibers 1.

As shown in FIG. 1, in the first step, a large number of thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers 1 are bundled (b), and in the second step, one end of the bundled fibers is inserted into a cylindrical binding member 2 (b). ). This binding member 2 is made of hard synthetic resin or metal that can be deformed by heating and pressurizing.

Then, as a third step, the binding member 2 is heated and pressed by heating and pressing means 3 such as a heat press or a heat roller,
While crushing the binding member, the fibers 1 are melted and joined to each other and also welded to the binding member 2 (c).

In this way, the bundled fibers 1 are joined to the binding member 2 without any hair removal. Therefore, by embedding or planting this binding member 2 in a desired position of a doll or animal toy, hair can be easily implanted.
No hair loss. When a hard synthetic resin is used as the binding member, it is easy to join the fibers, and when the object to be flocked is made of synthetic resin, it is easy to fix the flock member to the object.

FIG. 3 shows an embodiment in which a rivet 2B is used as the binding member. The fiber bundle 1B is held between the tubular press 3B, the tip of the press is moved toward the rivet 2B, and the tip of the fiber bundle is inserted into the hole of the rivet, and then the rivet and the tip of the fiber bundle are heated by the heating means 3C. Heating it, pressing it with a press to the flocking position of the flocking object C, caulking the rivet and fixing it,
Flocking is achieved by welding fiber bundles to the rivets.

Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, a large number of thermoplastic synthetic resin fibers are bundled, one end of the fiber bundle is inserted into a cylindrical binding member, and the binding member is heated and pressurized. Since the fibers are welded and fixed to the binding member, it is possible to manufacture the flocking member through a very simple process, and the flocking to the object is easy, and since the fibers and the binding member are completely welded, There is no need to worry about hair loss later. In general, according to this method, hair can be easily implanted even on hard objects and small objects.
