A caking agent containing components that evaporate during the curing process is mixed in a weight ratio of (1 to 5): (1 to 5) = 1 to form a slurry, and then poured into a mold to form a primary molded body, A method has been proposed in which, after air drying and/or primary firing, the material is removed from the mold and subjected to secondary firing at a high temperature of 300°C or higher (JP-A-60-6241@, JP-A-60-6242).
No. 60-6243). When using this method, a fired product with an excellent porous aeration structure can be obtained, but the strength of the solidified molded product before firing, that is, the green strength, is not necessarily sufficient, and it may be partially damaged when taken out of the mold, or when fired. There are drawbacks such as cracks that may occur, and it has been considered to improve the yield by improving these.

In such a case, the solvent is not particularly limited as long as it is a good solvent for the conjugated diolefin low polymer or its derivative, but aromatic solvents such as benzene, toluene, xylene, methylene chloride, etc. A halogen-containing solvent such as ethanol, alcohols such as isopropyl alcohol, cellosolves such as Putiluse O Tsuru 7, etc. can be arbitrarily selected. Particularly preferred solvents are alcohols and soaps.

~5): (1~5)=1 is preferable, and by this blending ratio, properties such as strength, air permeability, thermal conductivity, and surface texture can be obtained in a well-balanced manner. The lower limit of the mixing ratio was specified here because it is necessary to obtain the minimum strength that can be used as a mold, and the upper limit was specified because if there is too much aggregate, moldability will deteriorate. Reduces the coating ability of the binding agent,
This is because it causes a decrease in strength and a deterioration in the stability of the mold surface. The reason for setting the upper limit for metal powder is that even if the mixture of ceramic powder and binder is perfect, if metal powder is used in excess, sufficient strength cannot be obtained, and the surface may become more porous than necessary. This is because the properties deteriorate and the transferability is impaired. Caking agents are necessary for bonding aggregates and also for achieving air permeability.

If the amount of additive (D) is too small, the desired strength cannot be obtained, and if it is too large, the composition of the slurry will become non-uniform, resulting in a decrease in strength or poor reproducibility.

Addition of too much steel fiber tends to cause fiber balls, which may reduce moldability.

The use of the additives of the present invention makes it possible to densely fill the aggregate, making it possible to use aggregate with a smaller particle size, which is effective in improving transferability, but using aggregate of 5μ or less may cause cracks. It becomes difficult to avoid the occurrence of The upper limits for each are determined from the viewpoint of strength and because excessive porosity would deteriorate the surface properties of the mold.

After being allowed to stand for a few minutes, the mold is removed, and then air-dried and/or primary firing is performed. This is to prevent the occurrence of cracks and distortion in the next secondary firing process, as well as to make it porous by evaporating the alcohol content contained in the binder and additives. Natural drying time is selected from a range of 1 to 48 hours. The latter primary firing may be performed by directly igniting the demolded molded body with a torch lamp or the like.

After the natural drying and/or primary firing, the molded body is subjected to secondary firing under oxidizing atmosphere conditions. The oxidizing atmosphere may be air, or may be oxygen-enriched air in consideration of oxygen supply. Although the firing conditions depend on the blending ratio of each component, the mold dimensions, the desired porosity, etc., it is generally preferred that the firing temperature is 300 to 1300°C and the firing time is 81 hours or more.

This is because the strength necessary for a durable type cannot be obtained. The reason why the upper limit of the firing temperature was set at 1300° C. is that although a hardened shell layer is formed, the surface becomes rough and transferability is impaired.

After the demolding model is air-dried for 48 hours, The mixture was treated in a firing furnace at 900° C. for 6 hours to obtain a suction mold (C). Also, by the same operation, 20
