Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、吸収性物品に関し、更に詳細には使
い棄ておむつに関する。
従来、幼児に使用するため種々の使い棄ておむ
つが提案されている。そのようなおむつは普通、
流体不浸透性の裏側シート、流体浸透性の表側シ
ート、および該裏側シートと表側シートとの間に
挿入した吸収パツドから成るものである。普通、
上記の吸収パツドは当業界でウツドフラフと呼ぶ
細かく砕いた木材パルプで作る。
このようなパツドの繊維は多くの点で使用目的
上満足なものではあるが、濡れた状態の弾性が比
較的低く、濡れて荷重が掛かると、つぶれてしま
うという欠点がある。すなわち、おむつ使用中に
パツドのまた部は軟かくなり、濡れた時つぶれ、
その結果、また部は変形して容積が比較的小さく
なる。そして、その形状を適当に維持できなくな
る結果、幼児のまた部を覆うことができなくな
る。
本発明の目的は、おむつ使用中に濡れて荷重を
受けた時にもおむつのまた部がつぶれにくく、お
むつの形状が維持され、おむつの吸収性能の低下
を防止できる使い棄ておむつを提供することにあ
る。
上述の目的を達成するため、本発明の使い棄て
おむつは、吸収パツド組立体を有する使い棄てお
むつにおいて、該吸収パツド組立体は、一対の腰
部、該両腰部の間に位置するまた部、裏側シート
流体浸透性表側シート、及び前記裏側シートと前
記表側シートとの間に位置する吸収パツドを有
し、該吸収パツドは、濡れた時にも大きな弾性を
有する材料からなる第１のパツド部材と親水性材
料を含む第２のパツド部材とからなり、前記第１
のパツド部材は前記吸収パツドの表側の面の一部
をなすようにして前記また部に配置され、前記第
２のパツド部材は少なくとも前記また部と前記両
腰部との間に延在して前記吸収パツドの表側の面
の一部をなすことを特徴とする。
かかる構成を有する本発明の使い棄ておむつに
よれば、おむつのまた部に、濡れた時にも大きな
弾性を有する材料からなる第１のパツド部材を配
したから、おむつ使用中におむつのまた部が濡れ
て圧縮されてもおむつのまた部の形状及び容積は
維持され、ひいてはおむつ全体の形状も維持され
る。よつて、おむつの吸収性能の低下が防止でき
るばかりでなく、おむつのまた部からの濡れも防
止できる。
以下図面を参照しつゝ本発明の実施例を詳細に
説明する。
第１図乃至第３図を見ると、吸収パツド組立体
１２を有するおむつ１０が示されている。吸収パ
ツド組立体１２はその裏面１６を形成する流体不
浸透性の裏側シート１４（例えばポリエチレ
ン）、パツド組立体の表側の面２０を形成する流
体浸透性の表側シート１８（例えば不織布）、お
よび裏側シート１４と表側シートとの間に挿入し
た吸収パツド２２から成るものである。第１図を
見ると、吸収パツド組立体１２には１対の腰部２
４ａ，２４ｂ、該両腰部の間のまた部２６、１対
の側線３２ａ，３２ｂ、および該両側線を結ぶ１
対の端線３４ａ，３４ｂがある。パツド組立体１
２には、おむつを当てた時幼児の身体におむつを
固定するため１対のテープフアスナー２８（在来
のもの）を設けてもよい。第１図、第２図に示す
ように、流体不浸透性の裏側シート１４は側線部
３０を折返し吸収パツド２２の表側の面上に配さ
れた表側シート１８に固着してもよい。
第１図乃至第３図を見ると、吸収パツド２２は
吸収パツド組立体１２のまた部に位置する気泡材
料の第１のパツド部材３６、該第１のパツド部材
３６の側線４０，４４とパツド組立体の端線３４
ｂ，３４ａとの間にそれぞれ位置する親水性吸収
材料、例えば細かく砕いた木材パルプからなる第
２のパツド部材３８，４２から成る。従つて、第
２のパツド部材３８，４２は第１のパツド部材３
６の両側に位置し、吸収パツド組立体１２の腰部
２４ａ，２４ｂとなり、また部２６の両側に位置
して吸収パツド２２の表側の面の一部を形成す
る。第３図に良く示すように、第２のパツド部材
３８，４２は両方ともそれぞれ表側詰綿シート４
６および裏側詰綿シート４８を有し、第２のパツ
ド部材３８，４２の構造的な一体性を維持して使
用中にこれらのパツド部材３８，４２がだんごに
なるのを防ぐようにしてもよい。
第１のパツド部材３６は吸収パツド組立体１２
の全幅に延在するのが好ましく、濡れた状態での
弾性が比較的大きな任意の材料、例えばポリウレ
タン気泡材料又はポリエチレン気泡材料で作るこ
とができる。第１のパツド部材３６は吸収パツド
２２の表側の面の一部をなす。又、第３図に示す
ように、第１のパツド部材３６は第２のパツド部
材３８，４２より厚いのが好ましい。
おむつ使用中に、尿は表側シート２８を貫通し
て気泡材料の第１のパツド部材３６に入り、該パ
ツド部材から第２のパツド部材３８，４２に入り
該両パツド部材に保持される。気泡材料の第１の
パツド部材３６は濡れたときの弾性が大きいか
ら、該パツド部材３６は、濡れて荷重を受けたと
きにも、圧縮されるがつぶれてしまうことはな
い。従つて、気泡材料の第１のパツド部材３６は
幼児が脚を動かすと元の形状を回復しその形状を
維持する。即ち、第１のパツド部材３６はおむつ
使用中に濡れて荷重を受けてもおむつのまた部を
望ましい形状に維持する。
第４図に示す本発明のおむつの今一つの実施例
では、吸収パツド２２は、やはり吸収パツド組立
体１２のまた部２６に気泡材料の第１のパツド部
材３６を有する。吸収パツド２２は、吸収パツド
組立体の両腰部の間に延在する親水性の吸収材料
例えば細かく砕いた木材パルプからなる第２のパ
ツド部材５０を有する。このパツド部材はおむつ
のまた部２６と腰部との間で第１のパツド部材３
６の両側線４０，４４の両側において吸収パツド
２２の表側の面を形成している。第２のパツド部
材５０は、前述のように構造的な一体性を維持す
るため表側詰綿シート４６および裏側詰綿シート
４８を有してもよい。第２のパツド部材５０には
また部２６に切欠き又は凹部５２を設け、吸収パ
ツド組立体１２のまた部２６で第２のパツド部材
５０の一部５４の上に気泡材料からなる第１のパ
ツド部材３６を受けて保持する。従つて、第１の
パツド部材３６は第２のパツド部材５０の凹部５
２に保持され、第１のパツド部材３６は、第１図
乃至第３図のおむつに関連して既に説明したと同
じ態様で、おむつが濡れて荷重を受けた時にも吸
収パツド組立体１２のまた部２６の形状を維持す
る。好ましい形態では、図示のように、第１のパ
ツド部材３６は、その両側の第２のパツド部材５
０の表側の面の上に突出し、吸収パツド組立体１
２のまた部２６のパツドの厚さが、おむつのまた
部と腰部との間の部分の厚さより大きいようにす
る。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １ 吸収パツド組立体を有する使い棄ておむつに
    おいて、該吸収パツド組立体は、一体の腰部、該
    両腰部の間に位置するまた部、裏側シート、流体
    浸透性表側シート、及び前記裏側シートと前記表
    側シートとの間に位置する吸収パツドを有し、該
    吸収パツドは、濡れた時にも大きな弾性を有する
    材料からなる第１のパツド部材と親水性材料を含
    む第２のパツド部材とからなり、前記第１のパツ
    ド部材は前記吸収パツドの表側の面の一部をなす
    ようにして前記また部に配置され、前記第２のパ
    ツド部材は少なくとも前記また部と前記両腰部と
    の間に延在して前記吸収パツドの表側の面の一部
    をなすことを特徴とする使い棄ておむつ。 ２ 特許請求の範囲第１項の使い棄ておむつにお
    いて、前記第２のパツド部材は細かく砕いた木材
    パルプで作られているもの。 ３ 特許請求の範囲第１項の使い棄ておむつにお
    いて、前記第１のパツド部材は気泡材料で作られ
    ているもの。 ４ 特許請求の範囲第１項の使い棄ておむつにお
    いて、前記第１のパツド部材は前記吸収パツド組
    立体の略全幅に延在しているもの。 ５ 特許請求の範囲第１項の使い棄ておむつにお
    いて、前記吸収パツド組立体のまた部がその隣接
    部より厚いもの。 ６ 特許請求の範囲第１項のおむつにおいて、前
    記第１のパツド部材は前記第２のパツド部材の表
    側の表面より突出しているもの。
