Claims (1)
- 互いに圧接する対をなす定着、加圧口−ラによりトナー
像が転写された用紙を扶持搬送することによりトナー像
を用紙に定着させる定着装置において、前記２つのロー
ラを互いに圧接させる加圧部材として形状記憶合金で作
られたスプリングを有し、該スプリングを形成する形状
記憶合金は概ね定着ローラの温度が定着温度になったと
きの該スプリングの温度を変態温度とし、該スプリング
は上記変態温度よりも高い温度における両ローラ間の加
圧力が上記変態温度よりも低い温度における両ローラ間
の加圧力よりも低くなるように、変態温度よりも高い温
度及び変態温度よりも低い温度での自然長が予め設定さ
れていることを特徴．とする定着装置。
