In areas with heavy snowfall, it is important to frequently remove snow that has fallen from the roofs of houses in order to protect them. By the way, this snow removal work is currently carried out manually in most cases, but this snow removal work involves people climbing on the roof, which is dangerous and requires considerable hard labor. Be strong. As a result, there is a shortage of manpower in areas with heavy snowfall, and measures to remove snow have become a major social issue in the region. As a countermeasure to this problem, conventional methods have been to wire an electric heater across the entire roof of the house and melt the snow with the heat generated by the electricity, or to pipe a lightning extinguishing vibrator to the roof and pump up underground water, hot water, etc. Some methods have been used to melt snow by spraying water on roofs, but these snow melting methods have drawbacks such as high equipment and operating costs. There is a desire to develop an alternative device that can efficiently melt snow that has accumulated on roofs with inexpensive equipment and operating costs.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention includes a group of heat pipes filled with an antifreeze hydraulic fluid that are distributed and installed on a roof surface, and a group of heat pipes that are connected thermally to the evaporation section of the group of heat pipes. A snow melting device is configured by comprising a circulation pipe for supplying a heat medium, a heat medium heating means and a heat medium flow means interposed in the heat medium circulation pipe, and By heating and sending the heating medium, the heat held by the heating medium is given to the evaporation part of the heat pipe, and the snow that has accumulated on the roof is removed by the exchange of latent heat that accompanies the evaporation/condensation cycle of the working fluid within the heat pipe. This allowed the snow to melt, freeing the area from having to rely on manual snow removal work.

1 to 3 show examples of the present invention, and in each figure, 1 is a house to be implemented, and a large number of codes are distributed over the entire area along the slope of the roof 2 of the house. Heat pipes indicated by 3 are installed in parallel. Further, an evaporator header pipe 4 is installed at the lower end of each heat pipe 3 to communicate with each other to form an evaporator section, and a closed circuit is formed between the inside of the header pipe 4 and the outside. A circulation pipe 5 for supplying a heat medium is installed. In addition, with respect to this heat medium circulation pipe 5, there is a circulation pipe 5 on the indoor side.
There is a heat medium storage tank in the middle of 6. Heat medium flow pump 7° heat exchanger 8
An oil-fired boiler 9 with a built-in heating medium for heating the heat medium is installed, and these parts are combined to form a heat pipe type snow melting device. The heat pipe 3 described above has a structure in which a small amount of evaporative working fluid is sealed together with a small amount of evaporative working fluid in a long and thin metal pipe with good thermal conductivity. Contains an antifreeze hydraulic fluid that does not freeze up to around 30°F. On the other hand, the inside of the heat medium circulation pipe 5 described above is filled with an antifreeze heat medium 10 such as ethylene glycol or propylene glycol aqueous solution. With this configuration, when there is a large amount of snowfall, the boiler 9 is fired to heat the heat medium to the highest possible temperature above 0°C, and then the pump 7 is turned on.
The heat medium 10 is circulated between the heat pipe header 4 and the heat pipe header 4 in the direction of the arrow. As a result, the heat held by the heating medium IO is applied to the evaporation section of the heat pipe through heat exchange with the heat pipe 3, and the working fluid is evaporated. On the other hand, the vapor of this working fluid diffuses inside the heat pipe, radiates heat through the pipe wall to the snow that has fallen on the roof, condenses, and then travels through the wing due to gravity and returns to the evaporation section. Due to the fact that the working fluid repeats the evaporation/condensation cycle in this way, the heat given to the heating medium 10 by the boiler 9 is radiated from the entire area of the heat pipe 3 to the snow that has fallen on the N soil in the form of latent heat of condensation. Even when there is a large amount of snow, once the snow melting action described above has progressed to the extent that the snow has accumulated on the roof, the snow accumulated on the roof will cause a surface avalanche and will naturally slide down along the slope of the roof 2. It becomes like this.

As described above, according to the present invention, a group of heat pipes filled with an antifreeze hydraulic fluid installed in a distributed manner on a roof surface, and a group of heat pipes connected thermally to the evaporation section of the group of heat pipes are arranged. It is equipped with a circulation pipe for supplying a heat medium, a heat medium heating means and a heat medium flow means interposed in the heat medium circulation pipe, and heats and transports the heat medium within the heat medium circulation pipe. The heat is applied to the evaporation section of the heat pipe, and the latent heat generated by the evaporation/condensation cycle of the working fluid within the heat pipe is transferred to melt the snow that has accumulated on the roof. With inexpensive equipment and operating costs, it is possible to melt the snow that has accumulated on the roof with great efficiency, regardless of manual snow removal work, and the practical benefits are extremely large.
