B. Prior Art Conventionally, one feeding gutter was commonly arranged in front of a large number of chicken cages arranged in a row, and a feeding pipe was reciprocated on the gutter along the entire length of the gutter. There is one that is installed so that bait is automatically fed into the gutter from the pipe. In this automatic feeding device, in which a feeding pipe is moved while constantly dropping a fixed amount of feed from the feeding pipe, chickens with a low appetite tend to have a large amount of uneaten food due to individual differences among chickens. Gradually, an excessive amount of food may be deposited in only one area, and the food may be wasted. Therefore, in the past, it was necessary to manually smooth out the accumulated bait to make the amount of bait in the feeding trough uniform.

C. Purpose of the invention In view of the above, the present invention automatically stops feeding in areas where there is a lot of leftover food in the feeding gutter, and automatically starts feeding in areas where there is little leftover food so that the feeder is constantly fed. It is an object of the present invention to propose a livestock feeding device that can keep the amount of feed in a gutter constant.

D. Structure of the invention In other words, the present invention supplies food to the feeding gutter 8 through a drop shooter, and automatically controls the amount of food fed electrically by operating a feed amount detection switch provided on the drop shooter. The present invention is characterized in that a switch is installed at a detection position of a predetermined height of the drop shooter so as to detect the upper end surface of the bait deposited in the drop shooter, that is, the height of the deposited bait.

1 is a feeding hopper, the lower part of which communicates with the screw chamber 2. Reference numeral 3 denotes a screw conveyor, which is driven by a motor 4 and is adapted to supply bait into a drop shooter 5, and these constitute bait supply means. The drop shooter 5 has a bendable connecting tube 5a in the middle thereof.
The lower drop shooter 5b can swing freely. Reference numeral 6 denotes a feeding amount detection switch installed in the middle of the drop shooter 5, using a capacitance type switch or a photoelectric switch. is sensed and the motor 4 is stopped. Reference numeral 7 denotes a protective member made of a rubber material or the like to protect the switch 6. The lower end 5c of the lower drop shooter 5b is arranged to face the feeding gutter 8, and is set at a height far away from the upper surface of the food deposited in the feeding gutter 8. Reference numeral 9 denotes a cylindrical leveler, which is fitted into the lower part of the drop shooter 5b so as to be able to rise and fall freely.The amount of feed is determined by the gap D between the lower end feeding port 9a of the leveler 9 and the inner bottom surface of the feeding gutter 8. Ru. Reference numeral 10 denotes a guide member formed in an annular shape that fits into the feeding gutter 8, and an arm 11.
It is fixed to the leveler 9 so as to be vertically adjustable. If the guide member 10 is formed into an annular shape as shown in the figure, it will also come into contact with the inner surface of the gutter and guide the leveler 9 along the gutter even if the gutter is bent vertically and laterally. However, when the leveler 9 is made to follow only the upper and lower bends of the gutter, it may be formed into a leg shape that contacts only the bottom surface of the gutter 8. Each of the above-mentioned constituent members is provided so that the leveler 9 reciprocates along the entire length of the gutter 8 by means of a trolley provided on the upper part of the cage, and this reciprocating drive means is well known.

Now, when the motor 4 is driven and the feed in the hopper 1 is fed into the drop shooters 5 and 5b by the screw conveyor 3, and the feed is fed to the feed amount detection switch 6, the switch 6 is turned off. Then, the motor 4 stops and feed supply is stopped.

In this state, when the drop shooters 5, 5b, leveler 9, etc. are moved in the longitudinal direction of the gutter 8 (arrow A-B direction), the bait in the drop shooter 5b flows out into the gutter 8 through the gap D, and the amount of the outflow is D makes it a constant amount. When the bait flows out, the upper surface of the bait in the drop shooter 5b is lowered, and the switch 6 is turned on to drive the motor 4 and replenish the bait by the amount that flows out. This gap D can be adjusted by vertically adjusting the leveler 9 with respect to the guide member 10. Also,
When the gutter 8 is bent in the vertical direction, the guide member 10 moves up and down along the bend, and the leveler 9
is moved vertically in the same way, so the gap D is always constant even if the gutter is bent in the vertical direction. Furthermore, when the guide member 10 is formed in an annular shape as shown in the figure, the guide member 10 also comes into contact with the inner surface of the gutter 8,
Even if the gutter 8 meanders in the longitudinal direction, the leveler 9 is guided along the gutter so that the leveler 9 does not come off from the gutter 8. Next, if there is an excessive amount of uneaten bait 12 in the middle of the gutter as shown in the figure, when the leveler 9 passes over the bait section 12, the leveler 9
The upper part of the bait 12 is leveled by the lower end 9a, and at the same time, the bait part 12 blocks the bait from flowing out from within the leveler 9, so the drop shooter 5b
The upper surface of the food inside is raised by the food being replenished;
By turning off the switch 6, the motor 4 is stopped, and feeding of food is stopped. When the bait passes through the bait portion 12, the same feeding operation as described above is performed.

Effects of the invention As described above, according to the invention, the feed amount detection switch 6 detects the height of the accumulation in the drop shooter and automatically replenishes the feed. Compared to a system that controls the supply of food using a conventional method, more accurate detection can be performed at all times. In other words, since the food in the gutter is scattered back and forth by the chickens, the shape of the food piled up is disturbed, making it inconsistent and causing erroneous detection. In this case, the upper end surface of the deposited food always remains flat without being affected by the chickens, allowing for accurate detection. In addition, if the movable operating end of the detection switch 6 protrudes into the gutter, the operating end may be moved with its beak when the chickens are eating or when not eating, which may lead to malfunction. Since it is installed at a predetermined height of the drop shooter, even if a switch with a similar movable operating end is used, there is no possibility of malfunction caused by the chickens, making it extremely effective in practice as a feeding device.
