ているが、地震時にその衝撃力によつて電子計算
機が転倒したり、移動して壁等に衝突して機能が
損われる問題があつた。そこで、従来より、この
問題を解決する手段として免振床があり、その一
例として免振床に緩衝材を用いているものがあ
る。しかし、この緩衝材は可燃性であるために防
火対策上不適当であつた。
