However, conventionally, it has been difficult to false-twist thermoplastic long fibers such as polyester and spun yarn in a consistent manner, so a composite crimped yarn made of both has not been put to practical use. In other words, in the conventional spindle type, external type, or internal type friction false twisting type, which are generally known as conventional false twisting devices, the tension on the untwisting side is greater than the tension on the twisting side, resulting in many yarn breaks, and There was a problem in which the joined yarns were separated into pieces due to the tension on the untwisting side.

ものである。 The present invention is composed of two endless belts that intersect and are in contact with each other with the belt surfaces pressed against each other at the intersecting points, and the yarn is passed through the intersecting surfaces of both running belts, giving the yarn a twist and a feeding action at the same time. By using a false twisting device to make the tension on the untwisting side smaller than the tension on the twisting side, we can create a composite crimped yarn with a unique texture that uses thermoplastic long fibers as the core yarn and spun yarn as the leno yarn. This is the realization of a method for manufacturing.

It passes through a heater 4 and is sent to a false twisting device 5 consisting of two endless belts. A roller 6 is provided downstream of the supply roller 2, and a yarn 8 made of spun yarn from the second bobbin 7 is guided so as to coincide with the yarn 3 sent from upstream. The yarn 8 is then sent together with the yarn 3 through a heater 4 and a false twisting device 5, and the formed composite crimped yarn 9 is wound up by a take-up roller 11 via a delivery roller 10. In this case, the tension applied to the yarn on the output side of the false twisting device 4, that is, on the untwisting side, is selected to be smaller than the tension applied to the yarn on the input side, ie, the twisting side, of the device 5.

In other words, according to this method, the first yarn 3 is already twisted to some extent before it joins the second yarn 8, so the second yarn 8 in particular is easily twisted into the first yarn 3. It is something that can become entwined with its surroundings.

得ることができる。 FIG. 2 shows a sketch of a microscopic photograph of a composite crimped yarn according to the present invention. That is, polyester SD75de/36fil is used as the first yarn 3, and the second yarn 8 is made of polyester SD75de/36fil.
A spun yarn consisting of No. 42 single yarn (EC42/1) of 50% polyester and 50% cotton was used as the yarn, and was produced by the method shown in FIG. As can be seen from FIG. 2, the obtained composite crimped yarn 9 has yarns 8 of spun yarns intertwined well on the outside of yarns 3 made of long fibers in a mixed form of S twist and Z twist, and , fluff 13 of thread 8
Since they protrude outward, it is possible to obtain a unique texture as if the entire composite crimped yarn 9 were a spun yarn, and also to obtain a composite processed yarn having hygroscopicity depending on the type of short fibers.
