The workpiece gear 10 is fixed by being fitted into the shaft hole of the workpiece gear 10. The inner fitting member of the above-mentioned collector chuck is a rod 14 attached to a piston of a rotary cylinder 12 (a hydraulic cylinder whose piston is rotatable relative to the cylinder) attached to the lower part of the work head 2.
The cylinder 12
When hydraulic pressure is supplied to the hydraulic chamber and the piston moves in the cylinder axis direction, the workpiece gear 10 is fixed to the workpiece attachment part 8. Reference numeral 16 denotes a gear 18, a worm gear that slowly rotates the rod 14 clockwise in FIG. Also, the bed 4 can be used as a tilting device.
A work head fixing pad 24 that engages with the engaging portion 22 of the work head 2 to determine the leftmost position of the lower end of the work head 2 in FIG. I am now able to do this. At the lower end of the work head 2, the engaging portion 22 of the work head 2 and the pad 24 do not come into contact when no external force is applied to the work head. The work head 2 is connected to the piston 28 of the hydraulic cylinder 26 via a rod 30, and when the oil chamber of the hydraulic cylinder 26 is supplied, the lower end of the work head 2 is connected to the piston 28 of the hydraulic cylinder 26.
It is biased to the left in the figure and held in a position where it abuts the pad 24. The position of the pad 24 differs depending on the specifications of the workpiece gear 10. That is, when shaving the workpiece gear 10, the workpiece mounting shaft is deflected in a direction perpendicular to the coaxial axis due to the cutting force, so the position of the pad 24 is determined in consideration of the amount of deflection to ensure shaving accuracy. be. Reference numeral 31 denotes a limit switch mounted on the bed 4. When the lower end of the work head 2 is slightly displaced to the right, the limit switch 31 comes into contact with the lower end and generates a signal to reverse the DC motor 36. There is. On the other hand, 32 is a feed base formed on the upper surface of the bed 4.
A carrier 34 is attached to form a moving device.

This is because the rotation axis of the work head 38 can be adjusted to an arbitrary angle by the helix angle of the teeth of the cutter gear 40 and the helix angle of the teeth of the cutter gear 40.

クヘツド38を任意の傾斜角度に回動させる。 Next, based on the helix angle of the workpiece gear 10 and the helix angle of the cutter gear 40, when the workpiece gear 10 and the cutter gear 40 mesh, the gap between the tooth surface of the workpiece gear 10 and the tooth surface of the cutter gear 40 is determined. The work head 38 is rotated to an arbitrary inclination angle around the drive shaft 42' of the motor 42 at the joint surface between the rotary shaft of the cutter head 38 and the work head support portion 34'' so that sliding in the tooth trace direction occurs.

moves to the left in a rapid traverse motion, and the cutter gear 40 approaches the workpiece gear 10. And the cut gear 4
0 moves to the position where it meshes with the work gear 10, when the tips of both gears are in contact with each other,
After the cutter gear 40 comes into contact with the cutter gear 40, the work head 2 swings counterclockwise as the cutter gear 40 moves to the left and comes into contact with the limit switch 31.

る。 In this state, the motor 20 is operated by the output of the carrier position detection mechanism, and the workpiece gear 10 is rotated slowly clockwise. Then, when the carrier 34 starts moving leftward again, the operation of the motor 20 is stopped, and the rotation of the workpiece gear 10 is stopped. At this time, even though the work gear 10 has rotated, the work gear 10 and the cutter gear 4 still remain.
If the tips of the teeth are in contact with each other, the same operation as above will be repeated. On the other hand, when the rotation of the workpiece gear 10 allows the gear and the cutter gear 40 to mesh with each other, the tooth tip of the cutter gear 40 moves to the left beyond the contact position with the tooth tip of the workpiece gear 10. Even though I did it, the limit switch 3
1 does not operate, that is, when this condition is detected, the motor 36 stops operating and the carrier 3
4 is stopped at that position, while hydraulic pressure is supplied to the hydraulic cylinder 26, and the work head 2 is held at a position in contact with the pad 24. Next motor 4
2 is activated to rotate the cutter gear 40 and cause the carrier 34 to move slowly to the left, thereby shaving the tooth surface of the workpiece gear 10. This shaving operation is continued until the carrier 34 reaches the shaving end position where it comes into contact with the stopper 33.

It may be configured so that it is supported from below. In FIG. 3, the carrier 50 has a built-in motor (not shown) that drives the cutter gear 40, and the workpiece gear 10 is attached to a workpiece mounting portion (not shown) at the upper end of the workhead 52, which is rotatably attached to the bed 46. It is adapted to be attached via a clamp member. By the way, when operating the shaving machine of this second embodiment, when the cutter gear 40 is moved to the right after shaving the work gear 10 by the cutter gear 40, the two gears 10 and 40 must be at a position where the two gears 10 and 40 are not disengaged. If this is done, when the work gear 10 is replaced, the new work gear and the cutter gear will mesh quickly, and the machining time can be shortened.
