Generally, at the termination part of an optical fiber cable, it is necessary to connect the optical fiber cord for equipment wiring and the optical fiber cable. For fiber optic connections,
Special fusing equipment is required, and the extra length for pulling the connection part out to the equipment and the extra length for maintenance are usually taken into account. The present invention is particularly aimed at accommodating such extra length in a compact manner, facilitating maintenance, and reducing increase in loss. Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

Similarly, the equipment wiring cord 4 is connected to the fiber guide 3.
3, and one of the horizontally stacked storage cases 5 is pulled out toward you, and the fiber connection section 6 is inserted into the storage case 5.
Then, the excess length processing portion 7 and the excess length pull-out portion 8 are formed. Then, the storage case is pushed in as shown in FIG.

In such a method, it is necessary to form the extra drawer length portions 8 on both sides of the storage case 5, which has the disadvantage that the termination case 9 becomes large. Further, although the equipment wiring cord 4 is provided with a tension member around the fiber core wire, there is a problem in that it is difficult to secure the tension member using the conventional method. Furthermore, there was a concern that the fiber core wire would hang down in the drawer extra length portion 8, and the radius of curvature would gradually become smaller, resulting in increased loss.

本考案は、上記の欠点を改良したものであり、
以下その方法を説明する。
The present invention improves the above drawbacks,
The method will be explained below.

FIG. 2 is a front view of the termination device of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a side view of the same, and FIG. 4 is a detailed view of the extra length processing section.
(The same reference numerals indicate the same part names as in FIG. 1.) First, the optical fiber cable 1 is fixed to the cable clamp 10, and then the fiber core 2 of the required length is pulled out into the case. Similarly, the tension member retaining portion 11 of the equipment wiring cord 4 is formed, and the fiber core wire 2 of the required length is drawn out.

Next, by loosening the fixing screw 14, one of the plurality of plate-shaped extra length accommodating parts 12 hung vertically in parallel on the hanger 13 provided horizontally in the case, is placed over the slit of the hanger 13. Slide it and pull it out as shown by the dotted line in Figure 3. Then, the fixing screw 15 is tightened to fix the extra length accommodating portion 12 to the hanger 13.

Connect the fiber and hold the connecting part 6 on the holding stand 16
After the fiber is installed in the vertical direction, the fiber is passed through the fiber guide 17 to form an extra length processing section. After accommodating the extra length, loosen the fixing screw 15, slide the extra length accommodating part 12 as shown by the solid line in FIG. 3, and fix it to the hanger 13 with the fixing screw 14. Finally, the extra length of the drawer is attached to the fiber guide 18.

During maintenance, on the other hand, the extra length of the drawer can be removed from the guide 18, the fixing screw 14 loosened, and the extra length processing section 12 can be pulled out.

As described above, by making the extra length accommodating part into a plate shape and by suspending the extra length accommodating part 12 from the hanger 13, the drawer extra length part 8 that is required during maintenance can be removed only from the cable 1 side. , the termination case 9 has become smaller. Since the equipment wiring cord is located directly below the excess length processing section, it is easier to form the retaining section. The fiber core wire 2 no longer sag, the radius of curvature gradually became smaller, and no increase in loss occurred.
