ータにデータを入力せしめ、これをセンタ側へ送
出するのであるが、オペレータが通常の入力操作
以外の操作、又は思いもかけぬ操作(例えば作業
指導者に書かれていないような操作)を行つた場
合、センタ側の処理プログラム等が停止すること
がある。その際停止直前の状態を再現しその停止
の原因を追求すれば、センタ側のプログラムにお
けるバグ(虫)の発見が可能となることが多い。
しかしプログラム中のバグを修正後、その確認の
ため、総合テストを再開しても、端末機からのデ
ータ入力は各オペレータが個別に行うため、前記
障害発生直前のデータ入力状態を再現することは
殆ど不可能と言つてよい。このように従来の総合
テスト方式では、プログラム修正を確認するため
の、障害発生直前の入力データを再入力(再現)
できない欠点があつた。

機からのデータ送信を切り換えて前記領域に蓄え
たデータを前記処理装置に送出してテストを行う
ことを特徴とするオンラインテスト方式である。
