Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy and the efficiency of electric discharge machining of plural number of same works by arranging plural magnet blocks and positioning plates alternatively while further arranging positioning plates in perpendicular direction against the arranging direction. CONSTITUTION:Positioning plate is constructed with upper and lower blocks 5, 6 and 7, 8 and arranged on highly accurate base 11 alternatively with a magnet block 9 where the blocks 5, 7 and 6, 8 are coupled accurately through V-shaped endface. The positioning plate constructed with the blocks 7, 8 is provided in longitudinal direction. Such number of works 3 as the individual error is not accumulated are arranged while matching the endface with the positioning plate and fixed by applying magnetic force through operation of switch 10 for every magnet block 9. Then all upper blocks are removed to grind the upper face of the block 9 with high accuracy.

However, in the conventional electrical discharge machining jig described above, (1) the workpiece 3 is directly attached to the magnetic table 2 in the electrical discharge machine, so the operating time ratio is reduced by the workpiece setting setup time. (Decrease in operating rate due to in-machine setup) (1) Since a plurality of workpieces 3 are arranged in series with reference to the reference plate 1, dimensional errors of individual workpieces are accumulated, leading to a decrease in processing accuracy. (Decrease in precision for multiple machining) ■Since the magnet switch is turned on after placing multiple workpieces 3 on the magnetic table 2, the position of each workpiece is likely to shift, resulting in poor positioning accuracy. Also, a high level of skill is required to perform the work accurately. There were drawbacks such as (decreased positioning accuracy for multiple items and poor operability).

Figures 2 and 3 show the workpieces 3 actually fixed, and the workpieces are lined up with their end faces aligned with the positioning plate in such a way that errors of each workpiece do not accumulate, and each magnet block 9 is By operating the magnet switch 1G, a magnetic force is applied and fixed. Therefore, it is less likely that the position will shift when applying magnetic force to fix it. Furthermore, when setting a large workpiece 3 that cannot be fixed with one magnetic block, the upper block of the positioning plate between the magnetic blocks 9 is removed and used, as shown in FIG.
