The present invention relates to a thermal transfer recording device that performs thermal transfer recording, and more specifically, when recording in color, in order to record the recorded image part in yellow if it is yellow first, and then in magenta if it is magenta, it is necessary to start recording. When refeeding the ink paper to the position, a brake is applied to the ink paper take-up shaft to prevent the ink paper that was fed together with the recording paper from being overlapped with the recording paper during the first yellow recording to be sent back together. The present invention relates to a reverse transport means for reverse transport while applying pressure.

。In other words, during recording, recording and conveyance are performed by rotating the platen roller while pressing the ink paper and the recording paper overlapping between the thermal head and the platen roller. Stop the rotation of the roller, release the pressure on the thermal head, reverse the platen roller, drive only the recording paper with the sprocket, and return it to the recording start position (the used ink paper is wound up on the take-up shaft) I left it alone).

I had to cant the part where I opened it. Furthermore, due to the clearance between the sprocket and the holes provided in the recording paper, dots tend to be misaligned when overlapping recording is performed multiple times for color printing, which has a negative effect on color image quality.

A method has also been proposed, but in this method, when wrapping the recording paper around the platen roller, the wrapping includes not only the part corresponding to the head but also the part corresponding to the auxiliary roller.
As a result, the recording paper wraps around the platen roller at a larger angle, making it difficult to convey the recording paper when thick and stiff recording paper is used.

It is an object of the present invention to provide a thermal transfer recording device equipped with a recording paper conveying (reverse feeding) means that requires only small corners for winding, thereby making it possible to reduce the size and cost of the device.

たものである。The outline of the present invention is as follows. That is, as a means for reversing the recording paper after one color recording, the used ink paper portion that was overlapped with the recording paper during the one color recording is wound up on a winding shaft, and the winding shaft is reversed. The take-up shaft is braked so that the ink paper and the recording paper are stacked one on top of the other, and pressure is applied to the platen roller using a pressing means such as a thermal head, and the platen roller is reversed to remove the recording paper. This device uses a reverse feeding means that drives only the recording paper in the opposite direction while causing slippage between the ink paper and the recording paper using the friction between the ink paper and the platen roller.

The platen roller 1 is brought into contact with the platen roller 1, and the spring 41 is further rotated counterclockwise around the shaft 38 while stretching the spring 41 to reach the state shown in FIG.

The winding torque is the rotational torque generated by the friction between the gear pulley 11 of the platen roller shaft 13 and the felt washer 12. Since the brake torque is set so that it always exceeds the winding torque of the reel stand 7, the reel stand 7 does not rotate after winding up the ink paper 22 that has become slack due to the retreat of the thermal head 30. 22 stops moving.

Since the platen 2 and the guide pin 40 are pressed together by the force of the spring 41, the frictional force acting between the guide pin 40 and the platen 1 causes reverse feeding. Since the movement of the ink paper 22 is stopped by the movement of the ink paper 22, the movement of the ink paper 22 is not performed. Therefore, only the recording paper 62 is transported backwards while sliding between the ink-free portion 22b of the ink paper 22 and the recording paper 62.

。According to the present invention, color overlapping recording is possible without using a special drive means for reversely feeding the recording paper, by simply providing a means for prohibiting reverse feeding of ink paper in the conventional recording function. An extremely inexpensive thermal transfer recording (hard copy) device can be provided. Furthermore, if the pressure from the thermal head 30 is used instead of the pressure from the guide bin 40 to transport the recording paper by rotation of the platen roller, the same driving means is used to transport the recording paper in both forward and reverse directions. The drive was effective in preventing skewed running and enabled highly accurate print recording. Furthermore, even if a small-diameter roller is used, the recording paper can be wrapped (the angle can be set relatively large), making it possible to transport stiff cardboard.
