本発明は、固体の有機過酸化物の水性懸濁液組成物に関
するものである。さらに詳しくは、特別の分散機械を必
要とせずに長期間安定な水性懸濁液組成物を得る為に、
比重が1以上を有する有機過酸化物と少なくとも1種以
上の中性無機塩を含有することを特徴とする水性懸濁液

、固体の有機過酸化物についてもポンプ輸送出来るほど
流動的で安定性の優れた水性懸濁液の開発が望まれてい

微粒化し懸濁する方法や超音波ホモジナイザーで懸濁化
する方法が例示されているが、粒子の沈降りクリーミン
グを起こすなどの問題がある。又、BPOなど芳香族ジ
アシルペルオキシド類などは機械的衝撃により分解する
可能性もあり粉砕機等による微粒化は有効であるとは言
い難い。本発明によれば有機過酸化物を特に粉砕機等に
より微粒化しなくとも、1ケ月以上安定な水性12組成

本発明に用いられる固体の有機過酸化物としては比重か

ルペルオキンド)、ビス(p−クロルベンゾイルペルオ

、硫酸マグネシウム等が上げられるが特に限定するもの
ではない。又、これらは、2種以上混合して使用しても
かまわない次(こ一般に固体の有機過酸化物は水とのぬ
れが(使用される界面活性剤を少毒、添加することで解
決出来た。ここでいう界面活性剤とは、非イオン系、イ
オン系いづれの中から選んでもかまわない。具体的には
オレイン酸ソルビタンエステル、ポリオキシエチレンア
ルキルエーテル、プロピレングリコール脂肪酸エステル
、ポリビニルアルコール、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸

又、実施例1のBPO水性懸濁液組成物を使用してメタ
クリル酸メチルの懸濁重合を行なった所、純品BPOと
