ある。Solution to Problem c] The present invention solves the above problems, and in the paper holding mechanism of a printing device mounted on a carrier that reciprocates along the platen, A paper holding member that is freely attached and guides the paper and applies a pressing force to the paper, and the paper guiding member 9 are connected to each other, and the paper holding member is biased toward the platen during printing. The drive unit generates a pressing force and retracts the layered paper holding member in a direction opposite to the platen direction during paper insertion, paper feeding, or non-printing, and enables the paper to be guided. It is something.

As the arm 2 swings, it can move in the platen direction (approximately reciprocating) in FIG. Furthermore, the band-like member 9 is interposed between the paper holding member 11 and the printing paper 8 to prevent the paper holding member 11 from directly contacting the printing portion of the printing paper 8, and is attached to the frame. Tension is applied by a spring 14 which is stretched between the paper sheet and the sheet guide member 15. In FIG. 1, 10 is a paper guide member.

This K-side paper holding member 11Fi is pressed against the printing paper 8, and the printing paper 8 is brought into close contact with the platen 7, thereby preventing floating during printing. At this time, the paper holding member 11 does not come into contact with the strip member 9 [directly or with the printing paper 8].
