る。 図中、１はピストン、２は周側部、３は環状溝
部、４は耐摩耗層である。
図、第２図乃至第４図はピストンの周側部に耐摩
耗層を形成するための加工法の一例を示す図、第
５図は冷却用空洞部を有する本考案の内燃機関の
ピストンを示す概略断面図、第６図乃至第８図は
従来の内燃機関のピストンを示す概略断面図であ
る。 図中、１はピストン、２は周側部、３は環状溝
部、４は耐摩耗層である。
Claims (1)
- アルミニウム合金から成るピストンの周側部に
、ピストンリングを収容すべく形成された複数の
環状溝部の少なくとも一つの表面に、母材をアル
ミニウム合金として、これにセラミツクウイスカ
を混入させた耐摩耗層を形成したことを特徴とす
る内燃機関のピストン。
