電電極を対向配置して気密封止し、前記放電電極間に放
電空間を形成してなる避雷管において、前記放電空間内
に前記絶縁性中空円筒で支持され、もしくは前記絶縁性
中空円筒と前記一方の放電電極とで支持された強誘電性
リング板体を、該強誘電性リング板体の一部が前記放電
電極間につき出るように、前記強誘電性リング板体の内
径を前記放電電極の直径に比して小さくし且つ前記強誘
電性リング板体と前記放電電極との間隙を前記放電電極
間の間隔に比して十分に小さくなるように挿入したこと
