作用が懸念されるようになった。(Prior Art) Conventionally, water-soluble abrasives containing nitrites and alkanolamines as main components have often been used. This has been widely used for metal grinding because it lacks the grinding properties, anti-corrosion properties, and antifoaming properties required of an abrasive. However, in recent years, the formation of nitrosamines due to the reaction between nitrites and alkanolamines has been confirmed, and there has been concern about the carcinogenic effects of this.

Examples include those whose main component is a reaction product of alkanolamine and boric acid shown in No. 076. Although this has excellent rust prevention and antifoaming properties, it has the disadvantage that the liquid is sticky, which causes problems in grinding operations.

That is, monoalkanolamine has superior antifoaming properties compared to di- or trialkanolamine. To obtain the reaction product of alkanolamine and boric acid, about 130 to 1
Both components are allowed to react for 4-5 hours at a temperature of 65°C.

Propylene glycol is preferably used. Commercially available products can be used as they are. The blending ratio of both components in the abrasive agent varies depending on the grinding conditions and the type of material to be cut, but for the reaction product of alkanolamine and boric acid, it is usually 5 to 40% by weight, preferably 15% by weight. ~35
% by weight, and for glycols (usually 5 to 2%)
0% by weight, preferably 7-15% by weight. In addition to these essential components, the abrasive of the present invention may optionally contain preservatives, antifoaming agents, anticorrosive agents, etc. (・0 Methods for preparing and using the abrasive of the present invention include There is no particular difference from the conventional case of water solubility and grindability. That is, an aqueous solution is prepared by dissolving essential components and optional components in water. This is diluted as appropriate (-). (Effects of the invention) The present invention The abrasive has not only good grinding properties but also excellent defoaming and rust prevention properties, and is not sticky and is extremely practical. The present invention will now be explained in more detail with examples. However, the present invention is not limited to the following examples unless it exceeds the gist thereof.

09 chips (FC-2016 mesonyu) will be released. Sample solution LOmL! was added and left to stand for 10 minutes to allow the sample solution to sufficiently infiltrate the chips. After infiltration, drain the excess sample solution using a filter, and then thoroughly remove the sample solution using a dropper. The petri dish is covered and left to stand, and the rust prevention property is determined from the state of rust transferred to the dζ paper after peeling.
