  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 プラテンの印字方向に沿つて往復動作するキヤ
    リア上に、活字部を前記プラテンと対向する表面
    に有し、その活字部の裏面をハンマにて打撃して
    印字動作を行う第１印字部と、その第１印字部の
    印字点と異なる印字点を有し、印字パターンに基
    づいて印字を行う第２印字部とを備えた印字装置
    において、 前記第１印字部に装着された活字部の種類を検
    出する検出手段と、 前記第２印字部のための印字パターンを複数組
    記憶したパターンメモリと、 前記検出手段からの検出信号に基づいて前記パ
    ターンメモリに記憶された複数組の印字パターン
    組中より一組を選択する選択手段と、 を備えたことを特徴とする印字装置。
