- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ イメージデータをデータ変換部でサーマルヘ
ツドに適応したデータに変換した後、該サーマル
ヘツドに入力してフルカラーの再現を行うプリン
タにおいて、データソースから送られるコマンド
によりイメージデータかキヤラクタデータかを判
別するコンパイラとキヤラクタゼネレータとを含
み、コンパイラによる判別がイメージデータのと
きは該イメージデータをそのまま前記データ変換
部に送り、キヤラクタデータのときは前記キヤラ
クタゼネレータでキヤラクタに応じたイメージデ
ータに変換して前記データ変換部に転送するデー
タコントローラを備えたことを特徴とするフルカ
ラープリンタ。 ２ 前記データコントローラとシーケンス制御を
行うメインコントローラとにそれぞれ少なくとも
１個ずつＣＰＵを有することを特徴とする前記実
用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載のフルカラー
プリンタ。
