大図である。ＡＢＣＤは、プラスチツク製蓋で、
ＸＺは、缶の側壁である。Ｑは、Ｄ点に働く力を
表わし、矢印は、その方向を示す。第４図は、第
２図の点線部分の拡大図である。Ａ′Ｂ′Ｃ′Ｄ
′は、プラスチツク製蓋で、Ｘ′ＹＺ′は、缶の
側壁である。Ｘ′Ｙは、缶の縁を、外方に広げた
部分である。Ｑ′，Ｐは、夫々、Ｄ′点及び、Ａ
′Ｂ′に働く力を表わし、矢印は、それ等の方向
を示す。第５図は、二種類の缶の壁ＸＺとＹＺ′
を一致させ、両方の液が、Ｘ，Ｘ′点で、流出す
るとし、両点からの鉛直線を、ＸＮ、Ｘ′Ｎ′と
する。角ＺＸＮを角ｂ、角ＸＹＸ′を、角ａ、と
