    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 密封流体側に傾斜して延びる主リツプを備えた
    弾性シール本体とハウジングとを同心的に組合わ
    せて当該弾性シール本体内に上記ハウジングと相
    対回転する回転軸を挿入した密封装置において、
    上記主リツプのリツプ先端部の外周にリツプ先端
    がハウジング内周に密封接触するチエツクリツプ
    を設けて主リツプとチエツクリツプとの間に環状
    の負圧室を形成し、該負圧室内に選択的に導入さ
    れる負圧により上記主リツプを回転軸と接離可能
    としたことを特徴とする密封装置。
