関の燃焼室構造を示すもので、第１図はその概略
構成を説明するための模式的斜視図、第２図ａ，
ｂはいずれもその噴霧燃料の挙動を説明するため
のもので、第２図ａは第１図のａ―ａ線に沿
う模式的部分縦断面図、第２図ｂは第１図のｂ
―ｂ線に沿う模式的部分縦断面図、第３，４図
および第５図ａはいずれもその突起による噴霧燃
料の吹上げ現象を説明するための模式図、第５図
ｂは第５図ａに示す突起に対応して溝を設けた場
合の模式図、第６図ａ〜ｅはいずれもその突起の
変形例を示す模式図であり、第７，８図は従来の
内燃機関の燃焼室構造を示すもので、第７図はそ
の要部縦断面図、第８図はその噴霧燃料の挙動を
説明するための要部縦断面図である。 １…ピストン、２…燃焼室、３…燃料噴射ノズ

Claims (1)
- 燃料噴射ノズルからの噴霧燃料を供給される燃
焼室をもつた内燃機関において、複数の噴霧燃料
吹上げ用突起が、上記噴霧燃料の噴射を受ける燃
焼室内壁面の周方向に沿い所望の間隔をあけて離
散的に配設されるとともに、上下方向に所望の間
隔をあけて配設され、上記突起のうち上下に隣接
する突起が相互に周方向に偏倚して配設されたこ
とを特徴とする、内燃機関の燃焼室構造。
