Abstract

PURPOSE:To replace a watt-hour meter without interrupting power supply to the demand side by forming a guide part for guiding a holder in a repeating terminal equipment so that a short circuit terminal block is abutted against respecting terminals of the repeating terminal equipment by the elastic force of the holder. CONSTITUTION:A terminal 11 and connection pins 12 to be inserted/connected to the repeating terminal equipment 20 are formed on the watt-hour meter body 10, insertion holes 21 into which the pins 12 are to be inserted, and a terminal part 22 for connecting the pins 12 with the power supply side and the load side are formed in the equipment 20 and a guide part 22 for fitting a short circuit device 30 is formed on both the sides of the equipment 20. At the replacement of the body 10, the holder part 33 of the device 30 is engaged with the guide part 27 of the equipment 20 before the separation of the body 10 from the equipment 20 and power supply side terminals and load side terminals of the equipment 20 are short-circuited so that electric power is supplied from the power supply side to the load side without passing the watt-hour meter. Thus, the watt-hour meter can be replaced without interrupting power supply to the demand side.

That is, by inserting each connection bottle 12 of the electricity meter main body 10 into each insertion hole 21 of the relay terminal device 20 and tightening the connection screw 23, both 20 and 10 are integrated and electrically connected. . The power supplied from the power supply side electric wire 24 connected to the terminal portion 22 by the connecting screw 26 is supplied to the main house at the following head pressure. First, the electric power supplied from the power supply side electric wire 24 is transmitted through the terminal section 22 of the relay terminal device 20 (the two on the middle seat side in FIG. It is supplied to the meter body 10. After the electric energy is integrated and measured inside the electric energy meter main body 10, the two connection bins 12. Terminal section 22 of relay terminal device 20
It is supplied to each load of the consumer via the load-side electric wire 25. In this way, under normal conditions, the power supply side electric wire 24 and the load side electric wire 25 are connected via the watthour meter main body 10 .

By the way, in this state, the power meter main body 10 must be removed for replacement etc.
When removed from the relay terminal device 20, the electrical connection between the power supply side and the load side is cut off, resulting in a power outage state on the consumer side. For this reason, before separating both 10 and 20, the shorting device 30 is used to short-circuit the power supply side and the load side to prevent a power outage on the consumer side.

First, the holding part 36 and the fixing part 38 of the short-circuiting device 30 are pulled in opposite directions against the helical spring 39 to separate them. In this state, the projecting piece 38a is moved upward from below the relay terminal device 20 with the fulcrum 27 side facing upward while being inserted into the guide portion 27 of the relay terminal device 20. Then, when each shorting element 31 of the shorting terminal block 32 comes to a position facing the connecting screw 26 of the relay terminal device 20, the force that was separating the holding part 36 and the fixing part 38 is removed. That is, by releasing the hand from the short-circuiting device 30, the holding portion 36 and the fixing portion 38 of the holder 33 are attracted to each other by the tensile force of the helical spring 39. By attracting these two 36 and 38, the shorting element 31 of the shorting device 30 is pressed against the connection screw 26 of the relay terminal device 20, and the power supply side electric wire 24 and the load side electric wire 25 are connected to the shorting element 31 and the wiring 34. shorted by.

In this manner, the short circuit device 30 is attached to the relay terminal device 20, and the power meter main body 10 is removed from the relay terminal device 20 with the power supply side and the load side short-circuited. Even if the two 10 and 20 are separated, the power supply side and the load side are short-circuited, so the consumer side will not experience a power outage.

With this configuration, the power meter itself can be replaced without causing a power outage on the customer side, so the storage contents of the personal computer or video recorder being used at the customer will not be lost, and the power consumption will be reduced. This eliminates the need for inconvenience to customers when replacing the meter. In addition, since the short circuit device is constructed separately, the operator can carry it with him when replacing the watt-hour meter, and it can be applied to any watt-hour meter, allowing for easy and efficient replacement work. .
