出回路と、定着ヒータと、定着ヒータに流すヒー
タ電流を制御する交流制御素子と、交流制御素子
にヒータ電流のオンオフ信号を送る制御手段とを
具備しており、前記ヒータ電流が所定の値に到達
するまでの期間は１サイクルおきにヒータ電流を
流すように前記オンオフ信号を制御するようにし
たことを特徴とする画像形成装置における定着ヒ
ータの制御装置。 (2) 前記交流制御素子はトライアツクであるこ
