インバータ装置において、変流電源の相電圧に基
づいて前記回生インバータ部を作成するゲート信
号作成回路と、このゲート信号作成回路からゲー
ト信号を受けて前記回生インバータ部を駆動する
ゲートドライブ回路と、前記ゲート信号作成回路
とゲートドライブ回路の間に挿設され、ゲート信
号の通過、阻止を制御するゲートブロツク回路と
、前記コンバータ部の入力側で線電流を検出する
変流器と、この変流器の2次電流を整流して前記
線電流に応じた電圧を得る整流回路と、電流設定
器と、この設定器による設定値と線電流の検出値
としての前記整流回路の出力電圧を比較し、検出
値が設定値以上の時に前記ゲートブロツク回路に
信号阻止の制御信号を付与するコンパレータ回路
とを備えてなることを特徴とする回生インバータ
