り付けられる一側のカバー部材に、外側壁に吸入
口を有しかつ内側壁に吐出口を有したポンプ室を
形成し、該ポンプ室にケーシングに内蔵された電
動モータにより回転駆動されるインペラを内設す
る一方、前記ケーシングの他方の開口端部を覆つ
て取り付けられる他側のカバー部材の中央部に、
外部の燃料通路と接続されチエツクバルブを介装
した吐出ポートを形成し、前記インペラの回転に
よつて前記吸入口から吸い込んだ燃料を、インペ
ラの周辺部に放射状に多数形成された溝の回転力
によりポンプ室の吐出口からケーシング内空間を
経て前記吐出ポートから外部の燃料通路へ圧送す
るように構成してなるタービン型燃料ポンプにお
いて、 前記他側のカバー部材の内壁に当接して取り付
けられ、前記インペラ駆動用の電動モータのアー
マチユアを回転自由に軸受する固定シヤフトの一
端部を嵌挿して支持する円筒状の支持部を中央部
に有するとともに、該支持部の外周部に吐出ポー
ト方向に深さ大となるように円錐状に形成された
凹部を前記支持部の外周壁から放射状に延設した
複数の仕切壁によつて複数の小凹部に仕切り、か
つ、前記各小凹部の支持部外周壁と接する最深部
から前記吐出ポートと連通する連通孔を有してな
る目詰防止部材を設けたことを特徴とするタービ
