Claims (1)
- 多数の用紙が積層して載置される給紙トレイを
昇降させてこの上の用紙を、給紙トレイの上に配
置されている給紙ローラが用紙に接触して用紙を
給送することができる所定範囲の給紙位置に配置
し、かつ、給紙トレイの上の用紙の最上位のもの
を順次に給紙ローラが給送することができる給紙
装置において、上記給紙トレイに一体的に配設さ
れている用紙残量センサと、この用紙残量センサ
と対向して垂直状に配設されていると共に用紙残
量センサで検知することができる孔またはマーク
が上下方向へ一定間隔をおいて形成されている検
知片と、上記用紙残量センサの出力に基づいて給
紙トレイに載置されている用紙の量と給紙トレイ
に載置することができる用紙の最大量との比率を
計算する用紙残量計算手段と、これにより計算さ
れた比率を表示する用紙残量表示手段とを具備す
ることを特徴とする給紙装置。
