Conventionally, however, when installing a stay, the position for installing the stay was determined by marking the position at the time of assembling the fitting frame, and the stay was fixed by welding. As a result, the surface treatment layer applied to the surface of the fitting frame as an anti-rust treatment such as plating or anti-rust coating is destroyed, resulting in the disadvantage that the welded part must be repaired after the stay is fixed. Furthermore, there were disadvantages such as distortion caused by welding heat, and the work of installing the stays required skill and considerable effort.

As shown in the figure, stays 2 are fixed around the fitting frame 1 at appropriate intervals. These stays 2 are installed in a bridge shape across a pair of edge portions of the fitting frame 1. The conventional stay was attached using a welded joint 3, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, and therefore had the drawbacks mentioned above.

A, 1b are provided with tenon holes 4, 4' at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction at the mounting positions of the stays 2, and both ends of the stays 2 are formed to engage with the tenon holes. As is clear from FIG. 5, in this fitting frame 1, one edge portion 1a is parallel to the base portion 1c of the fitting frame, while the other edge portion 1b is perpendicular to the base portion. .
The dimension of the mortise hole 4' of the vertical edge portion 1b, ie, the dimension in the longitudinal direction of the fitting frame, is smaller than the width dimension of the stay 2. It is preferable that the mortise hole 4 in the other edge portion 1a has a dimension slightly larger than the width dimension of the stay 2.

The protrusion 2b is bent at a substantially right angle to form a second flange. These flange portions protrude in opposite directions. Note that the stay 2 has a sloped portion 2c at an appropriate position.
The presence of this slope allows each flange to be properly perpendicular to the stay body. The second flange portion 2b is dimensioned to be inserted into the mortise hole 4' of the edge portion 1b. The shape of each tenon hole in the fitting frame and the above-mentioned stay can be easily formed by press working.

The stay 2 is fixed by inserting the flange portion 2a into the tenon hole 4 on the other side and bending it so as to sandwich the thickness of the edge portion 1a. 9 and 10 show a state in which the stay 2 is fixed, and in that state, the first flange portion 2

By being held between the flange portion 2b and the stepped portion of that portion, the stay 2 is prevented from moving in the left-right direction, and is also prevented from moving in the vertical direction.

Further, the stay can be easily attached, and the stay does not require skill as in the past, and therefore the stay can be attached efficiently.
