Therefore, when the heat exchanger is not used for a long time in freezing temperatures or at night, the water in the water heater is drained to prevent the heat exchanger from freezing and breaking. A conventional heat exchanger is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. That is, a first pipe 2 for water circulation is wound around the outer peripheral surface of the heat exchanger main body 1 in a coil shape, and the upper end of the heat exchanger main body 1 is connected to the first pipe 2 and has a meandering shape. A second pipe 3 is provided, and the water is configured to be warmed by the heat exchanger body 1 while passing through the series passage of the first pipe 2 and the second pipe 3.

Although the heat exchanger main body 1 is unlikely to be destroyed even if it freezes, it completely blocks the water passage. Therefore, when reusing the water, the water passage is blocked, so even if water is passed through the water heater, the water does not flow, and eventually the water inside the second pipe 3 located at the top of the heat exchanger body 1 is The drawback is that the water heater cannot be used until the frozen area thaws.

A second pipe connected to the first pipe and arranged in a meandering manner is provided, and the water is configured to be warmed by the heat exchanger body while passing through the series passage of the first pipe and the second pipe. The right and left bent portions of the second pipe arranged in a meandering manner are connected to one end of a common drain pipe through a branch portion, and a drain plug is provided at the other end of each drain pipe. It is characterized in that it is connected to a drain part having a water drain part.

This will be explained based on the diagram. In the figure, 11 is a heat exchanger main body of a water heater, and this heat exchanger main body 1
A first pipe 12a for water circulation is wound around the outer circumference of the pipe 1 in a coil shape. Heat exchanger body 1
The second pipe 12b located at the upper end of the heat exchanger body 11 is arranged in a meandering manner, and its bent portions 12c protrude outward from both ends of the heat exchanger body 11. The above configuration is the same as the conventional one shown in FIGS. 1 and 2. In such a heat exchanger, the present invention connects the bent portions 12c with one drain pipe 14 via the branch portions 13, and connects the bent portions 12c with one water draining pipe 14 at the tip of the pipe 14 than the second pipe 12b. A drain part 15 is provided on the lower side, and a drain plug 1 is provided in the drain part 15.
6 is provided.

1 is tilted lower to the right side, open the drain plugs 16, 16 of the left and right drain sections 15, 15, and the upper drain section 15 will function as an air purge. and lower water drain part 1
The water 17 in the second pipe 12b can be completely drained from the second pipe 12b. Note that the water in the first pipe 12a flows down the first pipe 12a and is completely drained out because the first pipe 12a is wound in a coil shape.
