いて、上記駆動回路が、一定周期の基準信号を発
生する基準信号発生回路と、上記基準信号を受け
て各指針に対応した周期のクロツク信号を出力す
るクロツク信号発生回路と、上記各クロツク信号
を受けて各指針を形成する多数のセグメント電極
に分配される上記セグメント信号を出力するセグ
メント信号発生回路と、いずれか2つの指針が重
合する位置で、短い方の指針を表示する液晶セル
のセグメント電極へ上記セグメント信号が印加さ
れるのを阻止するしや断回路とを備えていること
を特徴とする液晶表示器。 (2) しや断回路は、いずれか2つの指針が重合
