Claims (1)
画像をリニアイメージセンサに結像させ、前記イ
メージセンサの前の光軸上で複数の異なる色フイ
ルタを一定の周期で切り替えるとともに前記イメ
ージセンサで走査を行つて、色分解された前記読
取ライン上の画像を表す電気信号を前記イメージ
センサより取り出すようにしたカラー画像入力装
置において、 読取ラインの原稿読取開始位置の前に前記色フ
イルタのそれぞれと実質的に同色の色帯を設けて
それら色帯を前記イメージセンサの所定位置に結
像させ、各走査毎に前記色帯のそれぞれに対応し
た前記電気信号のレベル状態を基に当該走査で切
り替えられている色フイルタを判別する手段を備
え、当該走査で得られる読取ライン上の原稿画像
を表す電気信号を前記判別された色フイルタに対
応する色の画像信号として取り込む手段を備える
