Furthermore, in a video camera equipped with an electronic viewfinder device, it is possible to check images during recording and to check reproduced images by receiving a reproduction signal from a magnetic recording and reproducing device.
However, there is a drawback that power is consumed while the video camera is in use. Therefore, it would be convenient if both of these types of view indexers could be used selectively as needed.

Further, a part of the optical information is reflected by the semi-reflecting plate 3 and provided to the reflecting plate 4. The reflector 4 provides optical information to the double-sided reflector 6. Note that this double-sided reflective plate 6 may be a single-sided reflective plate or a prism. Now, the angle of the double-sided reflector 6 can be changed from the outside of the video camera cabinet (not shown), as will be described later, and can be selectively set to the reflection angles A and B shown in the figure. Also, the double-sided reflector 6 is linked to the switching operation of the switch 11, and when the reflection angle A is set, the switch 11 is open and the receiver 8 is turned off, so it is not in operation. do not. At this time, the double-sided reflector gives the above-mentioned optical information to the reflector 7, and the reflected light is transmitted to the eyepiece 9.
is discharged into the finder 11 through. That is,
If the double-sided reflector 6 is set at the reflection angle A, optical information of the subject 1 will appear in the viewfinder 14. Also, when the reflection angle of the double-sided reflector 6 is changed and the double-sided reflector 6 is set to the reflection angle B, the switch 11 is closed and the receiver circuit 10
An alternating current (or direct current) voltage is supplied from the power supply 13 to the receiver 8, and the receiver 8 operates. At this time, the imaging device 5
The optical information on the photocathode 12 is photoelectrically converted and provided to the receiver 8, and the receiver 8 performs predetermined signal processing by the receiver circuit 10 to project an image showing the optical information on the screen. The light from this screen is then given to the reflector plate 7, and the reflected light is reflected through the eyepiece 9.
is discharged into the finder 14 through. That is,
When the double-sided reflector 6 switches to the reflection angle B, the receiver 8 operates, and an image showing optical information of the subject appearing on the screen appears in the viewfinder. Note that 16 indicates the user's eyes.

It has both an optical type and an electronic type. When used as an optical type, the power to the receiver forming the electronic viewfinder device is cut off, and when used as an electronic type, the receiver is connected to the power source. This is effective because it saves power consumption.

であつてもよい。 In the embodiment, the optical information extracted from the semi-reflecting plate 3 in two directions has been described on the assumption that transmitted light is applied to the photocathode 15 of the imaging device 5, and reflected light is applied to the reflecting plate 4. This relationship may be reversed.
