As shown in FIG. 1, these legs have a shape memorized so that they are in an extended state at a predetermined high temperature. In this embodiment, the shape of the straightened state is memorized at a suitable temperature, for example 40 degrees, which can be easily achieved using, for example, a hair dryer.

It is divided into two parts, which are connected to the body of the frog 5, and inside there is a linear core material made of a shape memory alloy that penetrates from the body to the upper half 7b and the lower half 7a. 8 is passed. The shape of the core material 8 is memorized at a temperature at which it is in an upright state, for example, the temperature of tea or bath water.

ることができる。 Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, the core material 8 should be bent and plastically deformed between the lower half 7a and the upper half 7b and between the upper half 7b and the body at room temperature. For example, as shown in FIG. 4, when the hot water 10 in the hot water cup 9 is poured into the hot water 10, the rear legs 7 become straightened almost instantaneously, kicking the hot water 10 outward as shown in FIG. It can jump and surprise those who see it.

A shape memory alloy wire rod is embedded inside along the axial direction, and the outside is coated with a soft synthetic resin. Then, as shown in FIG. 5, the core material (not shown) is bent at its tail 11a side so as to form an approximately "C" shape, and its shape is memorized in an atmosphere at a temperature similar to that of a bath, for example. There is.

Therefore, the tail part 11a hits the hot water and moves backward in exactly the same state as a normal shrimp. An example of this is not a jump in air, but a jump in the same fluid as air.

By storing a shape in a predetermined shape under a predetermined temperature condition, deforming it into another shape at room temperature, and applying the same temperature conditions as when it was memorized, the restoring force is used to perform jumping motions, etc. This makes it possible to create an unprecedented jumping toy that can jump through the air and swim underwater like a real animal without using any complicated drive mechanisms.
