Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 この発明は、ワイパーブレードのびびり音や拭きむらを
なくすためにエツジ部に切り込みを入れた、ワイパーブ
レードに関するものである。
従来、新品のワイパーブレードでも、フロント面を扇状
に左右に動く時に、びびシ音や拭きむらを生ずることが
ある。その原因としては、第１図のように厚みと長さを
持つエツジ部の先端を第２図のように左方向に曲げた場
合、ゴムでできているので縮まるが、縮まった一辺（こ
の場合向って左辺）に波形を生じてしまう。これは、一
定の長さの物を縮めた場合に、その縮まった分を曲線つ
まり波形にすることで物理的に長さを調節するために生
ずる現象である。したがって、上下、左右に不均等に湾
曲しているフロントガラス面にバネの圧力で、湾曲して
押しつけられているワイパーブレードのフロントガラス
との接点であるエツジ部に大小の差があるとしても波形
が生じていることが考えられる。そして、この波形こそ
が、フロントガラス面上で着いたりはなれたシする時に
、びびり音や拭きむらを生ずることになる。したがって
、この波形をエツジ部から取り除き、びびり音や拭きむ
らを解消する方法が望まれている。
本発明は、その欠点を除くためになされたもので、それ
を図面について説明すれば、ワイパーブレード（１）の
エツジ部（２）に切り込み（３）を込れたものである。
本発明は、このような構造で有るから、エツジ部に生じ
たひずみで有る大小の波形を、切り込み部分でエツジの
ゴムが重なり合うことで波形を吸収してしまい、エツジ
にかかるむりを無くしてびびり音や拭きむらを防ぐ効果
が有る。しかも、エツジ部に切り込みを入れるという簡
単な構造なので容易に製造することが出来る。
なお、切シ込みの入れがたとして、第６図のように斜め
に入れることで、切り込みによる拭きむらを防ぐことが
出来る。
