That is, FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an example of a conventional paper feed roller mechanism, in which 1 is a drive roller formed by press-fitting a drive shaft 11 rotated by a drive source (not shown) into an elastic roller, and 2 is a pressing shaft. 21 is rotatably supported on an elastic roller and rotates in pressure contact with the drive roller 1; 3 and 4 are springs that press the pressing shaft 21 of the driven roller 2;
5 is the paper to be fed.

Such paper feed roller mechanisms are widely used in general printing machines, but the width of the paper is generally limited to accommodate the rollers. However, the width of paper used in computer peripherals varies widely, from about 16 cm to 46 cm, so the width of the paper feed roller must be set to cover the maximum width of paper. When a narrow sheet of paper 5, for example 16.5 cm in width, is sandwiched between the drive roller 1 and the driven roller 2 and is continuously fed using such a wide paper feed roller, the sheet 5 may be damaged due to wear of the driven roller 2, etc. It may go diagonally. This occurs due to the strength of the springs 3 and 4 that press both ends of the pressing shaft 21 of the driven roller 2, and when the narrow paper 5 is fed biased toward the end of the roller. It is extremely difficult to match the characteristics of No. 3 and No. 4 unless some adjustment means is added. Therefore, the end of the driven roller 2 on the side where the spring is stronger and on the side where the paper 5 is offset becomes thinner, so that the continuously fed paper 5 is obliquely moved toward the thinner roller. Furthermore, the driven roller 2, which is constructed in one piece as described above, has the problem of not being able to quickly respond to changes in the rotational speed of the drive roller 1 due to its inertia.

In order to eliminate the above-mentioned disadvantages, there is an improved method in which the driven roller is divided into multiple parts and pressure is applied to each driven roller separately, as shown in Figures 2 and 3. .

That is, in FIG. 2, 6 is a plurality of driven rollers each constructed by rotatably inserting a pressing shaft 61 into an elastic body, and 7 and 8 individually press these driven rollers 6 against the driving roller 1. It's a spring. Further, in FIG. 3, the shaft 61 of the driven roller 6, which is divided into a plurality of parts, is fixed to the tip of each comb-tooth elastic piece of the comb-tooth elastic retaining plate 9 with a set screw 62, so that the shaft 61 is in pressure contact with the driving roller 1. The following configuration is shown.

According to such a configuration, each of the plurality of divided driven rollers 6 is individually pressurized by the springs 7 and 8 or the common comb-like elastic retaining plate 9, so that the single unit described above is As in the case of the driven roller 2, it is possible to prevent uneven wear caused by the strength of the spring and the width of the paper to be printed, and it is possible to feed the paper 5 regardless of the width of the paper 5 and the strength of the spring. . However, the mounting structure for each driven roller is complicated, and the number of parts is large, so assembly and adjustment requires many man-hours and is expensive.

紙送りローラ機構について詳細に説明する。
The present invention was devised in view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, and an object of the present invention is to simplify assembly and adjustment when obtaining a configuration in which the driven roller is divided into a plurality of parts. Briefly, the present invention provides a paper feed roller mechanism consisting of a drive roller and a plurality of driven rollers divided and arranged along the axial direction so as to be in pressure contact with the circumferential surface of the drive roller. The comb tooth-shaped elastic holding plate is provided between adjacent comb teeth, and the shaft of each driven roller is held by being press-fitted into a bearing formed by bending the tips of the comb tooth elastic pieces located on both sides. That is what it is. The paper feed roller mechanism according to the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing an embodiment of the present invention.
The same parts as those in the previous figure are denoted by the same reference numerals. 10 is a comb-like elastic holding plate, and a bearing part 102 that holds the pressing shaft 61 of the driven roller 6 is formed by bending the tip 101 of each comb-like elastic piece. It has been formed.

In this way, since the bearing portion 102 is formed by bending the tip of each comb-tooth elastic piece of the comb-tooth elastic retaining plate 10, the pressing shaft 61 of each driven roller 6 is placed between the bearing portions of adjacent comb-tooth elastic pieces. It can be easily installed by simply press-fitting it from the rear, making it easy to assemble and requiring no adjustment, leading to cost reductions. The difference from the conventional example shown in FIG. 3 is that the tip of the comb toothed elastic piece is bent to form a bearing part 102 so that the driven roller 6 can be held without using any other fixed parts. Yes, there are no other changes in the other configurations.

As explained above, according to the paper feed roller mechanism according to the present invention, the pressing shaft 61 of the driven roller 6, which is divided into a plurality of parts, is press-fitted and held at the tip of each elastic piece of the comb-like elastic holding plate. This makes assembly simple and easy, and since no adjustments are required, a significant reduction in man-hours can be expected, which greatly contributes to cost reduction.
It is extremely advantageous when applied to various printing machines.
